 By Janet R. Stafford I was looking for a building that would do justice to the wreck of a cabin Eli and Carson are living in at the start of this chapter from WALK BY FAITH. This was the best I could do. I still think it looks a bit too cozy. A PDF of the second chapter from the novel is below. Maggie is still reeling from the fire that has consumed her boarding house and Eli's print shop. Eli and Carson are following the Sixth Corps and are wintering with the Army in Falmouth, Virginia... until Eli gets a telegram from Maggie.
