About Squeaking PipsSqueaking Pips Press, Inc. was founded in 2007 by Janet R. Stafford. Originally intended to publish nonfiction books, scripts and skits for use in church settings, Janet hit a major road block when she had trouble finding materials to publish.
After wondering what to do, Janet was inspired to re-edit and publish a novel she had written nearly 10 years earlier, Saint Maggie. Squeaking Pips released the book in 2011 and Janet has been writing ever since. In 2020, Janet changed the company's status and renamed it Squeaking Pips Books. Her goal is to offer books that are moving, thoughtful, hopeful, and fun in a world that so frequently is filled with anger, violence, fear, and despair. |
